WBPSC Technical Officer Post Details 2024
Title of Post: Textile Technical Officer

Education:
- 2 years of industry experience combined with a degree in handlooming or textile technology.
- 5 years of work experience and a diploma in handloom or textile technology
Age Limit: As of January 1, 2024, no more than 36 years old; government-mandated age reductions apply to candidates who identify as SC, ST, or OBC.
Pay: Level-12 (Rs. 35,800 – Rs. 92,100) in accordance with the WBS (ROPA) Regulations, 2019.
Application Fees for WBPSC Technical Officer 2024
A Rs. 210 application fee is required of candidates applying for the post of Technical Officer (Textiles). There is a convenience cost of 1% of the examination fee, with a minimum of Rs. 4.90, for online payments made using debit or credit cards. Additionally, there is an 18% GST added to the convenience fee. Similarly, there is a Rs. 4.90 convenience fee and 18% GST associated with online payments made through net banking services. A service fee of Rs. 17/-must be paid by candidates who pay offline at a bank counter.
Nonetheless, candidates who identify as SC/ST and who reside in West Bengal, as well as individuals with PwBD who have a physical impairment of 40% or more, are not required to pay the application cost. West Bengali BC candidates must pay the standard fee.
