Eligibility
Post Name and Education Eligibility:
- Electrician: ITI course in Electrician trade.
- Fitter: ITI course in Fitter trade.
- Rigger: ITI course in Rigger trade.
- Turner: ITI course in Turner trade.
- Machinist: ITI course in Machinist trade.
- Welder: ITI course in Welder trade.
- Computer/ICTSM: ITI course in Computer/ICTSM trade.
- Ref. & AC: ITI course in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning trade.
- Mechanic-Motor Vehicle: ITI course in Mechanic-Motor Vehicle trade.
- Plumber: ITI course in Plumber trade.
- Draughtsman (Civil): ITI course in Draughtsman (Civil) trade.
Age Limit:
Minimum age: 18 Years
Maximum age (as of 01.03.2024): 28 years
Relaxation of the upper age restriction for candidates who are SC, ST, OBC, PWD, or EWS in accordance with Indian government norms.
Allowance:
7000-7700 rupees a month (as per the Apprentices Act).
Apprentices are in charge of making all relevant arrangements, including lodging.
Procedure for Selection in SAIL 2024
The SAIL-IISCO Steel Plant uses the marks earned at ITI in the designated trade as the basis for the Apprenticeship Training selection procedure. The older applicant is given preference in the event of a tie in total marks. It is encouraged that applicants make sure they meet all qualifying requirements and submit their online applications well in advance.
