Eligibility Criteria

Essential Qualifications and Experience:-

(i) Superintending Engineer –

Candidates must hold an M.E. or M. Tech. in a relevant field with at least 55% of the possible points, or an equivalent CGPA, from an accredited university or institution and have worked regularly in a Group “A” post for eight years.
Candidates must hold a B.E. or B.Tech. in a relevant field with a minimum of 55% of the possible points or an equivalent CGPA from an accredited university or institution and have worked regularly in Group “A” positions for ten years.

Age Limit: The candidate may not be older than 50 years old.

(ii) Junior Technician: Applicants must hold a three-year diploma in science or a bachelor’s degree in engineering, depending on the field, from an accredited university or institution, with at least 60% of the possible points or an equivalent CGPA.
or a Post-SSLSC with two years of ITI and 60% of the possible points, or an equivalent CGPA from an accredited board, university, or institute plus two years of work experience.
Age Limit: The candidate may not be older than 27.

Application Fee for IIT

Through an online site, an application fee of Rs. 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only) must be paid. There is no application fee for women, PWDs, SC/ST, or women. Under no circumstances will the paid fee(s) be reimbursed, nor will they be held over for use in connection with another application, test, or selection.
If a candidate (SC, ST, PWD, or woman) requests a fee reduction, they must make sure they have included the necessary supporting documentation; otherwise, their application will be denied.

Applicants who wish to apply for more than one stream must submit separate application forms and pay the appropriate application cost for each stream.
