Note: Pass Class for SC/ST/PwBD (Person with Benchmark Disabilities) and Aggregate of all semesters/years – 55% and above for General, OBC (NCL), & EWS Candidates.
Age Limit for BEL
Age as of February 1, 2024: Engineer in training (TE)
BE/B.TECH: A maximum age of 28 years old
ME/M.TECH: A maximum age of thirty years old
The candidates in the General & EWS Category are subject to the maximum age limit specified. Still, there are ways to unwind:
- OBC (NCL) candidates have a relaxation of 3 years.
- SC/ST candidates have a relaxation of 5 years.
- PwBD candidates with at least 40% disability have a relaxation of 10 years, in addition to the relaxations applicable to OBC (NCL)/SC/ST candidates.
BEL Hiring Salary
Trainee Engineer I: The total compensation for the first year will be Rs. 30,000; the second year will be Rs. 35,000; and the third year will be Rs. 40,000.

In order to make the payment, candidates are asked to read the information and screenshots.
Applicants must fill out the application form using the “SBI Collect reference No.” that is generated following payment.
Before paying the application fee and submitting the form, candidates should carefully read the guidelines and eligibility requirements. Once paid, the fee cannot be reimbursed.
BEL Selection Procedure
Only those who pass the written exam will be invited to an interview, after which the shortlisted applicants will be chosen through a written test. We will notify you later on the written test/interview venue.
15% of the marks will be determined by the interview, with the remaining 85% based on the written exam. Depending on their merit in each category, candidates who pass the written exam will be invited for an interview at a ratio of one to five.
The names of applicants who make the final cut and are chosen for written exams and interviews will be available on the website of our business.

BEL Online Application Procedure
The offered Google form must be used for online registration for candidates. Any other format for registration submissions will not be allowed. Kindly register online using the link provided below. When completing the Google form, it is advised to use Google Chrome.
HOW TO COMPLETE THE APPLICATION ONLINE:
Use the URL link provided to view the Google form and complete all essential fields.
To send the application, click the “Submit” button.
The completed application will be forwarded to your registered email address when it has been submitted.
Make sure to accurately complete each section of the application form before printing it off.
Bring the completed application form, two recent passport-sized color photos, and other necessary paperwork to the selection center on the day of walk-in selections (information will be sent to you via your registered email ID).
Documents to be submitted:
- Provide a copy of your SSLC/SSC/ISC/10th Standard marks card to verify your date of birth.
- Submit all certificates from Matriculation/Class X onwards to support your educational qualifications.
- Include your ME/M.Tech/B.E/B.Tech/Degree certificate, as applicable.
- Attach all semester marks sheets or a final consolidated marks sheet.
- Caste/Community/Disability/Income certificate in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/EWS respectively.
- Post-qualification experience certificate/s from previous to current employer.
- Candidates working in PSUs/ Govt. organizations should compulsorily submit a ‘No Objection Certificate’ at the time of application or interview.
