2. UPPER AGE LIMIT / AGE RELAXATION 

• Maximum Age limit for Un-Reserved/ EWS Categories is 28 Years as on 02.2024.
• Maximum age limit is relaxed by 05 years for SC & ST, 03 years for OBC-NCL, 05 years for PwBD (UR), 10 years for PwBD (SC/ST) & 08 years for PwBD (OBC-NCL) candidates over and above the max. age limit prescribed at para 1 above.
• Maximum age relaxation by 05 years is applicable for Ex-Servicemen & Commissioned Officers (including ECOs

EXPERIENCE

5        TENURE OF EMPLOYMENT
5.1   Project Engineer / Officers / Diploma Assistants / Trade Assistants / Assistants will be engaged on Fixed Term Basis initially for a period of ONE year, up to a maximum period of FOUR years (including initial period) on extendable basis only, based on the Organisational requirement and individual performance.

In addition to the consolidated remuneration to above post(s) an amount of Rs.10,000/- per year will be paid towards expenses like Medical Insurance premium, attire allowance, stitching charges, footwear allowance etc. The said amount shall be paid in two instalments i.e., First instalment (50%) to be processed in the first month’s salary after joining and the second instalment (50%) will be paid after completion of 11 months from the date of joining.

7. RESERVATIONS, CONCESSIONS AND RELAXATIONS

• Reservation of posts for SC, ST, OBC (NCL), EWS and PwBD (Persons with Benchmarked Disabilities – with degree of disability 40% or above) are as per Government Directives.
• Candidates seeking reservation / relaxations as SC / ST / OBC (NCL) / EWS / PwBD will have to submit category certificate “ONLY in the Prescribed Proforma” meant for appointment to posts under the Government of India from the designated authority indicating clearly the candidate’s caste, the Act / Order under which the category is recognized as SC/ST/ OBC (NCL) / EWS / PwBD. • For getting the reservation benefits under OBC category, candidates need to furnish their OBC – NON- CREAMY LAYER (NCL) certificate (not more than 6 months old as on date of Walk-in-Interview) as per the format prescribed by Government of India. OBC category candidate who does not belong to “NON-CREAMY LAYER” are not entitled for OBC concessions and such candidates should indicate their category as “GENERAL” and will be considered under UR
• For getting the reservation benefits under EWS category, candidates need to furnish their latest EWS certificate (not more than 1 year old as on date of Walk-in-Interview) in the format as per DoPT Office Memorandum 36039/1/2019 – Estt (Res) dated 31/01/2019 or subsequent amendment(s), if any.
• Disability should not be less than 40% for the categories wherever PwBD reserved posts. A person, who wants to avail the benefit of relaxation, will have to submit a Disability Certificate issued by a Competent Authority as per the form V, VI and VII of Rule 18(1) under Chapter 7 of Rights of Persons with Disabilities Rules, 2017 dated 15.06.2017. The existing certificates of disability issued under the Persons with Disabilities Act 1995 (since repealed) shall continue to be valid for the period specified

• APPLICATION FEE: Application fee is to be paid online through SBI e-pay (by Debit Card / Credit Card/ Net Banking/ UPI,etc..,) by General / EWS / OBC (NCL) Candidates. Candidates belonging to Category of SC/ ST/ PwBD/ Ex-Servicemen are exempted from payment of Application Fee; for which Candidate should upload his/her valid Category Certificate i.e. SC / ST/ PwBD/ Ex-Servicemen in the Online Application. If valid Category Certificate is not uploaded, application will NOT be considered / accepted.

9  SELECTION CRITERIA

Criteria	Weightage
Aggregate Marks / Percentage secured in the Essential Qualification in the relevant discipline. For each percentage of Qualification will allocate 01 mark. However, Maximum marks will be allotted is 75 only.	75 Marks
Relevant Post Qualification experience – Allocation of Marks 01 year       – 03 Marks, 02 Years       – 06 Marks, >=03 Years – 10 Marks	10 Marks
Interview Marks	15 Marks
Total	100 Marks

 9.1 Selection will be based in the order of merit. When two or more candidates secure equal marks, they will be empanelled in the chronological order of their Date of Birth, the eldest being placed first among them. In case, Date of Birth is also same, then the marks scored in Interview will be the basis for merit list.
