Qualifications for RPF Constable Recruitment in 2024

Maximum Age:
As on July 1, 2024, candidates for constable must be between the ages of 18 and 28.
Candidates for Sub-Inspectors must be between the ages of 20 and 28 on July 1, 2024.
Age relaxation will be granted in accordance with government regulations.

Qualifications:
Constable: Candidates ought to have cleared the tenth standard exam.
Sub-Inspector: Bachelor’s degree is required of candidates.

Salary Range:
RPF Constables: Constables are paid an average of Rs. 21,700 + allowances. Level 3 is the pay scale for this position in the CPC Pay Matrix.

Physical Standards for RPF Constable and SI Recruitment in 2024

For Male Candidates:
Minimum height requirements are 165 cm (160 cm for ST candidates). This is the length measured between the top of the skull and the sole.
Should measure at least 80 cm (or 76.2 cm for ST applicants) in the unexpanded chest. The tape measure is positioned just below the armpits and the candidate is measured while breathing normally.
Expanded chest measurement: Minimum of 85 cm (81.2 cm for ST applicants). The tape measure is positioned just below the armpits and this measurement is taken while inhaling.

For Female Candidates:
Height: 157 cm is the minimum required (152 cm for ST candidates). This is measured in the same manner as male candidates: from the sole to the top of the head.

RPF Selection Procedure for Recruitment in 2024

A Computer Test (CBT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Measurement Test (PMT), and Document Verification will be used to choose the candidates.
