BPSC Head Teacher Qualifications
Requirements and Maximum Age:
Included are all elementary teachers who are employed by local bodies in accordance with the guidelines established by the corresponding Local Body Teacher Rules, 2020 and who have completed the training outlined in Rule 2 (ix) of the Bihar Primary School Head Teacher Rules, 2024. This also holds true for teachers hired in accordance with the Bihar School Special Teacher Rules, 2023, and the Bihar State School Teachers (Appointment, Transfer, Disciplinary Action, and Service Conditions) Rules, 2023. Teachers covered by the Bihar Government Primary School Teacher Transfer, Disciplinary Action, and Promotion Rules, 2018 are not included in this, nevertheless.
Any teacher as described is eligible to take part in the Commission’s examination. As long as he is 58 years of age or younger by August 1, 2024, he has at least eight years of experience teaching in government elementary schools. 60 is the age at which one can retire from old age.
Salary Range:

BPSC Head Teacher Selection Process 2024
The mode of selection will be based on a Written Examination (objective).

- The written test will consist of multiple choice questions (MCQ Objective) with an objective format. Every question will carry a single mark.
- Negative marking is not an option for incorrect responses.
- For the aforementioned written exam, there is no option for reassessment.
Minimum Requirement:
Candidates in the general category will receive 40% of the possible points for the written exam. Candidates from the backward class will score 36.5%. SC/ST, female, and physically disabled candidates must receive at least 32%, and EBC candidates must receive at least 34%.
Interview: This does not include any provisions for the interview.
List of merits:
The Commission will compile a list of the top performers based on the total number of points you received in each of the two written test sections. Should two individuals possess identical scores, the results from the second section of the exam will be considered. They will examine the grades from a certain subject if those are also the same. They will select the individual whose name appears first in the alphabet in the Devanagari script if the marks remain the same and the individuals have the same age.

Note: Those who have already completed their online application for the position of Head Teacher and paid the remaining cost for advertisement number 04/2022 must re-register using the same cellphone number.
