An Air India Express flight from Trichy to Dubai, carrying 160 passengers, was forced to return to Trichy Airport on Monday after the crew detected a technical glitch shortly after take-off, officials confirmed.
According to the information available, the aircraft circled in the sky for a short period as a precautionary measure before the pilot decided to head back to the airfield. The flight made a safe landing, and all passengers were reported to be completely unharmed.
