Explanation:- The novel Initiative Technological Intervention for Safety of Human Lives (NITISH) device, a pendant-shaped device specifically intended to warn farmers and the public in advance of impending heatwaves, coldwaves, floods, and lightning, has been introduced by the Bihar State Disaster Management Authority.

The campaign was started in response to farmers losing their lives to lightning strikes and flash floods on a regular basis, highlighting the device’s potential to save lives.
In partnership with the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Patna, the NITISH Device is unveiled.
With the device’s connection to the Bihar Meteorological Service Centre, precise and up-to-date weather alerts are guaranteed.
Thirty minutes before to lightning or flooding, owners of the NITISH device will hear an alert.
The heat from your body will charge the pendant. Three alert mechanisms will be activated by the device: voice messages, a green-to-red color change, and continuous warming until the user turns it off.
The device is waterproof, ensuring longevity and operation in a variety of weather conditions, in consideration of the obstacles faced by farmers.
