Punjab Public Service Commission Requirements
Age Limit: The candidate must be between the ages of eighteen and thirty-seven.
Upper Age Relaxation:
i) Employees of the Punjab Government, its Boards, Corporations, Commissions, and Authorities, as well as all State and Central Government employees, may have their upper age restriction lowered by up to 45 years.
ii) Punjab has loosened the upper age limit for SC and BC to 42 years old.
iii) An ex-serviceman residing in Punjab may deduct the amount of time he served in the Union Armed Forces from his real age, provided that the resultant age does not surpass the upper age restriction set forth for direct recruitment to such positions in the service. After more than three years under the relevant rule, he will be considered to have met the age restriction.
iv) The upper age restriction has been lowered for widows, divorcees, and several other groups of women to 42 years old.
v) Punjab has lowered the upper age limit for “PwD” to 47 years old.

Procedure for Selection
i) The following guidelines will be followed in order to choose applicants for the 300 positions of Veterinary Officer (Group A) at the Department of Animal Husbandry, Fisheries, and Dairy Development, Government of Punjab:

Mode of Examination
The test is pen and paper based, with answers to be completed using a ballpoint pen on a specially made machine gradable OMR sheet.
How to Apply
Only those who meet the requirements may apply online via the Punjab Public Service Commission’s (PPSC) official website (see the link to the application form below).
Only online applications via the www.ppsc.gov.in website are accepted from candidates. We won’t accept applications submitted in any other way.
Following the successful payment of the required amount and the completion of the online application form, the Registration/Acknowledgment Slip issued by the system will be shown on the computer screen. It needs to be printed out for candidates’ future correspondence. All of the verification will be completed when it is ready.
By March 28, 2024, hard copies of the “Online Application Form” and the Disability Certificate issued by the appropriate authority must be submitted by mail, email, or hand delivery to the PPSC reception counter by candidates who apply for scribe under the “Persons with Disabilities” category.
